A two day photo exhibition based on the life of street children titled 'Life on the Streets: Untold Stories, Unheard Voices' was held on the 22nd and 23rd of January in Kathmandu. The photos were taken by Seth Ostrowski(photojournalism intern) from, Alaska, USA and was sponsored by SAHARA Nepal, a non-profit organization. It was inaugurated by Mrs. Bindra Hada Bhattarai, the Secretary of Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare in Nepal.
A 20 minutes documentary on the same topic prepared by Jonathan Libeling, (documentary film intern) From USA, was also presented at the inaugural ceremony.
Roughly eighty people attended the event at Baryo Fiesta, and though it was a small venue, everyone was given a fair opportunity to see the photos.
