Internship Nepal celebates interns birthdays.We celebrated the birthday of Baptiste Le Grand on August 1st. Baptiste was from France joining us for a Medical internship/elective in Kathmandu. He worked with Kanti Children Hospital in Maharajganj, the bigest children hospital in Nepal.
We organized the program at a local restaurent, Bajeko SeKuwa, which is famous for local Neapalese food. Nine of our interns and members of the host family joined the celebration. The next day, interns also organized the host mother’s birthday celebration.
We also organize events like a culture exchange program. During the program, we learn each other’s culture of the birthday celebration.
